How to get to Cascais from Lisbon?
Cascais is only 34km west of Lisbon, or about 30 min away from the city. It is very easy to get to Cascais by either train or car.
By train you will need to get the suburban train from Cais do Sodré train station. The journey takes around 30 minutes, trains depart every 10-20 minutes, and tickets can be bought at the station for €4.60 (2 single tickets) or €6 for a 24h ticket.
By car it is also a 30 min drive along the EN6 or A5, although this later one does not have sea views despite being faster. Be aware of the parking which might be difficult to find during popular periods.
